Description:

This trail located in Marten River Provincial Park, features 300 year-old pines and passes a unique black spruce bog.  Interpretive signs explain the ecology of the bog and identify tree and plant species along the way.  While visiting this trail, you can take the opportunity to canoe along the Marten River

Directions: 

From the HWY 11/17 junction near Seymour Street, head northwest.  Turn right at Algonquin Avenue/HWY 11.  Continue to follow the highway for about 56 km until you reach the Provincial Park.
